C.I.S. Group has been locally owned and operated, serving Tomahawk and the surrounding area since 1944. Formerly Behling Insurance, Mary Felzkowski (formerly Mary Czaja), had purchased the business on September 1st, 1988, and formed C.I.S. Group.

This independent agency proudly represents companies such as Erie, Pekin, Society, Progressive, Dairyland and Foremost Insurances, along with West Bend Mutual and Mutual of Wausau. In 2010 C.I.S. Group partnered with Insurance Associates of America to also bring their clients an additional twenty plus companies to provide enhanced coverages.
